Coming off a very successful Dinner Under the Stars season, the Bloomfield Center Alliance is excited to announce a new event that is aimed at attracting people to the town's main shopping district, where they can walk its streets and visit a number of businesses offering great deals and fun experiences for the entire family!  

The first annual Bloomfield Center Sidewalk Sale, scheduled for this Saturday, September 13th from 12 noon - 6 PM, will feature twenty-one downtown retailers, salons, fitness studios, and restaurants.  Each business will set up a table or stand in front of their location to sell merchandise, offer free giveaways, and/or do fun and engaging demos and activities for the public!   Participating businesses include:

• Aaron's; 
• Add Pilates;
• Anthony's Cheesecake;
• Arlene's Bridal Salon;
• Bloomfield Steak and Seafood House;
• Bloomfield Wax and Skin Care Center; 
• Casa de Flora Bar;
• F45 Training; 
• Job Haines Home;
• Kolby's Styling Salon; 
• Murdoch Shoes;
• Nightjar Dispensary; 
• Public Garden Dispensary; 
• Rare Breed MMA;
• Save and Rave Consignment Shop;
• So Juicy Restaurant; 
• Ultimate Visions Hair Salon; 
• Upsid3h3art Studio; 
• Varitage Brew Works; and
• Zura Blooms Yoga

BCA staff will be set up at two "check-in" locations where visitors can go to pick up color-coded maps listing the participating businesses and their addresses.  The first will be at the Six Points Plaza (corner of Bloomfield Avenue and Glenwood Avenue).  The second will be at Venner Park (640 Bloomfield Avenue). Each check-in site will feature family entertainment - live music, free face painting, and balloon animal artists. 

With an eye toward making this an annual event that grows in coming years, in terms of businesses and attendees, the BCA's goal is to create the opportunity for more people to discover some of the great businesses that serve this community and call Bloomfield Center home.
