Thanks to a grant provided through the Main Street New Jersey Program, the Bloomfield Center Alliance received funding to upgrade and enhance its website. Working with the website design firm ITO Design, Inc. and with the assistance of several downtown business owners, the new BCA website repositions the platform as a key communication tool showcasing all that Bloomfield Center has to offer the community. Improvements include:

• Enhanced business directory now displaying more colorful graphics including logos, pictures, and videos promoting the downtown business community;
• Responsive software allowing for easy viewing and seamless usage on all devices, especially mobile phones;
• Interactive calendar providing an easy to see format displaying upcoming events /activities in Bloomfield Center;
• Interactive mapping component allowing visitors to find downtown business and other destinations (i.e., parking event venues, etc.); and
• Translation software enabling users of different ethnic backgrounds to view and engage the website in their own language.
