The Bloomfield Center Alliance has a new Executive Director. Ollyn J. Lettman was recently hired to take over the reins from former E.D. James McCrone who left in September and moved to Europe. In the full-time position, Mr. Lettman is responsible for all facets of program and operations of the townships special improvement district (SID). He joins the BCA after serving five years as Director of the Urban Enterprise Zone Program in the city of Newark. There he oversaw a number of initiatives including a fade improvement grant initiative and a business counseling and technical assistance to owners/entrepreneurs.
Mr. Lettman is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania where he received his Bachelor of Science in the area of Government. He also earned a Masters in Public Administration from Seton Hall University. Regarding his new position, Mr. Lettman states I am very excited to be joining the Bloomfield Center Alliance at a time when there is so many positive things happening within and around its SID. I look forward to working with the various stakeholders and organizational partners towards the goal of improving the downtown center and the district as a whole.
