On October 21st, the Bloomfield Center Alliance welcomed 45 people to its Grow Your Business by Maximizing Your Money and Time small business workshop. Co-sponsored by our partners at the Main Street New Jersey Office in Trenton, noted small business trainer/consultant Carissa Reiniger guided entrepreneurs, managers, and owners through several proven and successful strategies to help any small business grow and succeed. The three-hour session was chock full of valuable information providing attendees a game plan to better manage their resources and ultimately improve their bottom line.
Held in Bloomfield Center, several business operators from the towns special improvement district took advantage of this opportunity - which was free for them given the BCA hosted the event. Many of them gained knowledge and inspiration through their participation. One of the attendees, Dane Lowther owner of ProBody Massage very much appreciated the experience stating, I left the seminar with a stronger sense of direction. As a new business owner, he hopes the Bloomfield Center Alliance will sponsor and/or organize additional training opportunities like this.
