Bloomfield Township announced over the weekend that it is suspending the parking meters for the immediate future in an effort to help local businesses who are being negatively impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. Mayor Michael Venezia states, "Small businesses are a critical part of our community and with people avoiding going out at this time, we believe this will be an incentive for people to stop in to our local businesses."
