October 2025 - Congratulations to Bloomfield Center entrepreneur Melvina Boggs, owner of both Bloomfield Wax and Skin Care Center and Ultimate Visions Hair Salon and Beauty Bar.  Both businesses are now sporting  a new, distinctive look thanks to BCA's Façade Improvement Grant Program.  Ms. Boggs, who has been servicing the Bloomfield Center community for over 25 years, received a $3,000 grant from the program.  The funds  subsidized some of the costs for the design, manufacturing, and installation of  the new signage.  

The program is funded with Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) provided by the Township of Bloomfield.  Since 2021, a total of fourteen businesses have received grant support to complete various exterior improvements, including - new signage, canopies, lighting, doors, and windows.  To see some of the other businesses who have been assisted by the BCA, please click HERE!
