Bloomfield Center welcomes two new businesses

05-10-2018

April 27, 2018 - BCA staff, along with Bloomfield Mayor Michael Venezia and other dignitaries, attended two ribbon cuttings marking the opening of exciting new commercial ventures in downtown Bloomfield. The "ceremonies," represent the continuing growth and revitalization taking place in Bloomfield Center with new enterprises choosing to invest and/or expand in the town's central business district. The first ribbon cutting celebrated the re-opening of a new fine dining restaurant - Braun's Tavern and Dining Room. Formerly Satis Bistro, chef/owner Michael Fiorianti shared with the crowd that the rebranding of the restaurant was to create a "chef-driven, family-friendly, casual neighborhood spot where everyday people can come and enjoy great food and good times." The restaurant's new and improved exterior comes as a result (in part) to a grant from the BCA's Fade Improvement Program. The second ribbon cutting took place at a new co-working space located in the heart of the downtown at Two Broad Street. [In]Mosaic is a warm, inviting place for professionals who want and need access to affordable and convenient office amenities (i.e., computers, printers, meeting rooms, etc.). The innovative venture will help attract budding entrepreneurs seeking a dynamic environment where they can, as stated on their website, . . . "create, collaborate, and grow!" The BCA welcomes both of these enterprises to our downtown and look forward to working with them as downtown Bloomfield continues to attract new diners, shoppers, visitors, and investors!
